Westchester Medical Center Health Network seeks a dedicated advocate to provide trauma-informed crisis intervention and advocacy for survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and related traumas. You will accompany clients to exams, court appearances, and appointments, while coordinating referrals and safety planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate/bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with trauma-informed care and crisis intervention is desirable.
• Certification as SAAVE Rape Crisis Advocate and LAP Advocate is preferred.
• Ability to work with volunteers and manage programs.

Responsabilités

• Accompanies victims to medical/forensic exams and court appearances.
• Provides crisis intervention, information, referrals, and supportive case management.
• Performs trauma-informed screenings and coordinates referrals for services.
• Maintains thorough client records and coordinates with partner agencies.
• Responds to 24/7 crisis needs and supports volunteers and staff.
