Safe Horizon is seeking a Crime Victim Advocate to support victims of crime while partnering with police personnel in New York. You will provide trauma-informed assistance to victims and engage in outreach within precincts. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree and two years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities include client-centered services, training NYPD staff, and ensuring coordination of services for high-risk families. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a hiring range of $25.83 - $26.37 hourly.

Qualifikationen

• Two years’ experience in crime victim service delivery or other relevant experience.
• Knowledge of the police, criminal justice, and housing systems helpful.
• Bilingual ability may be required to meet individual precinct/community needs.

• Provide client-centered, trauma-informed services for crime victims.
• Act as a point of contact for hate crime cases within the precinct.
• Conduct community presentations and outreach.
