Job summary

Louisville Metro Government seeks a proactive Outreach and Training Coordinator to manage project-related trainings and client services. You will serve as the primary contact for community organizations and trainers, coordinating logistics and ensuring services and referrals are in place.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Social/Human Services and at least two years’ experience delivering trauma-informed, evidence-based programs within affected communities. Valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social or human services or related field is required.
• Two years in service delivery of program activities, including trauma-informed, evidence-based practices.
• Experience engaging with communities impacted by disparities or grassroots initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates all on-site trainings and educational events.
• Coordinates training regarding specified interventions (e.g., Sanctuary Model, Parent University, CBITS, AF-CBT).
• Coordinates and ensures client services are offered and referrals and aftercare are in place by partnering with program stakeholders.
• Secures locations and coordinates logistics for trainings and events.
• Coordinates the Champions for Change cohort of trainers.
• Participates in Advisory Board meetings for Champions of Community Challenges.
• Assists in developing and delivering in-service training programs.
• Prepares clear, concise written reports and presentations.
