Job summary

CHRIS 180 is a Georgia-based mental health organization seeking a licensed clinician to provide evidence-based trauma-focused therapy to adults, children, and families. The role emphasizes thorough assessment, treatment planning, and collaborative care.

You will screen, triage and document progress, administer biopsychosocial assessments, and coordinate with departments and external providers to meet health, education, and employment needs. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in the field of social work, counseling and/or marriage and family therapy and the ability to obtain licensure.
• Solid understanding of childcare concepts.
• Experience in individual, family and group therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy for adults, children and families referred to CHRIS Counseling Center.
• Demonstrate engagement skills and clinical expertise in trauma-focused mental health treatment.
• Provide trauma-informed individual treatment to clients of all ages.
• Manage clinical caseload with variable number of clients.
• Use preventive intervention techniques to prevent injury.
• Provide outpatient services including individual/family/group counseling for MH, co-occurring or substance abuse disorders.
