Job summary

Resilience Behavioral Health in Willowbrook, IL seeks a compassionate Primary Therapist for on-site service delivery. You will provide individual and group counseling within a trauma-informed framework, supporting clients with dual-diagnosis needs in a structured clinical setting.

The role emphasizes person-centered care, strong clinical grounding, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team. Salary ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 with standard weekday hours and optional evening/weekend

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
• Experience providing individual and group counseling services
• Proficiency in facilitating group therapy sessions and therapeutic discussions
• Knowledge of PTSD care and trauma-informed treatment approaches
• Familiarity with medical records management and ICD-9 coding
• Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Sensitivity and understanding of gender issues in counseling
• Strong interpersonal skills with diverse client populations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling services using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and guide meaningful therapeutic discussions
• Apply knowledge of PTSD care and trauma-informed frameworks across a diverse client population
• Support individuals with developmental disabilities with awareness of their distinct clinical needs
• Approach gender-related concerns in counseling with sensitivity, competence, and care
• Manage clinical documentation accurately, including familiarity with ICD coding and electronic medical records
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to support continuity and quality of care
