Job summary

The Bridge is seeking a compassionate Therapist to provide trauma-informed, evidence-based services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. You will deliver individual, family, and group therapy to help clients achieve safety and progress toward goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Active Texas clinical license (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in good standing; provisionally licensed candidates may be considered with approved supervision.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
• Minimum of three years of experience with at-risk or trauma-impacted populations.
• Knowledge of community, legal, and mental health resources for survivors.
• Ability to conduct crisis intervention, safety planning, and respond in high-stress situations.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication; ability to engage diverse populations.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, individual, family, and group therapy.
• Conduct comprehensive intakes and DSM-based assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to clients.
• Deliver ongoing psychoeducation and skill-building for coping.
• Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning.
• Respond to crisis calls; participate in on-call advocacy at hospitals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and maintain documentation.
