Job summary

Positive Education Program Willow Creek in Grafton, Ohio is seeking an Associate Teacher Counselor to implement social/emotional instruction and behavior supports within an ecologically-based program. You will coordinate with teachers, parents and professionals to deliver a cohesive education and behavioral plan.

The role requires documenting services, including lesson plans, progress notes, assessments and behavior plans, while adhering to agency policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent preferred in education, psychology, sociology, or related field.
• High School diploma required.
• Experience with children with autism and developmental disabilities.
• Experience with behaviorally/emotionally challenged youth.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to provide integrated education and behavioral programming.
