Job summary

Sage Haven Society (Formerly ACAWS) is seeking a Sexual Assault Response Coordinator to build strategic partnerships, provide survivor-centered education, and recruit and supervise volunteers for trauma-informed wraparound services.

The role involves community outreach, cross-agency collaboration, and delivering tailored training to local service systems, with a focus on equity and survivor advocacy.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of violence against women and gender-based violence, including sexual assault and intimate partner violence.
• Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate complex and sensitive situations.
• Proven experience working with vulnerable and diverse client populations using trauma-informed approaches.
• Proficiency with standard office software and reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develops, plans, and implements community events and discussions related to sexual assault awareness and response.
• Recruits, trains, supervises, and supports volunteers to provide survivor-centered services.
• Builds and maintains a volunteer network capable of responding to survivors in the community.
• Travels to outlying and rural communities to collaborate on service solutions.
• Develops and delivers training modules for local service systems and community needs.
• Gathers survivor-informed feedback to identify service gaps and inform program improvement.
