Job summary

The Salvation Army in the Greater Hartford area is seeking a Part-time Case Manager to support survivors of human trafficking. You will coordinate services across housing, health, employment, and legal resources, maintaining trauma-informed care and documentation.

You will collaborate with outreach teams, volunteers, and community partners, attend meetings, and ensure timely progress reports while adhering to program budgets and safeguarding confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field; two years of case management experience required.
• Prior experience with survivors of human trafficking or victims of crime preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assess survivors and determine needs for safety planning, services, and referrals.
• Develop and implement outreach plans including street outreach and drop-in efforts.
• Assist survivors in accessing housing, mental health, medical, employment, legal, and other resources.
• Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers to support outreach efforts.
• Attend anti-trafficking councils, meetings, and case reviews as requested.
• Maintain detailed case notes and documentation; provide trauma-informed care and survivor-centered support.
