Job summary

Good Shepherd Hamilton & Toronto is hiring for the Dorothy Day Place Women’s Services. This temporary full-time role supports cis women, trans and non-binary individuals facing housing barriers in a trauma-informed, anti-racist setting.

You will provide counselling, develop care plans, assist with safety planning, and help participants engage with community supports while working within a harm-reduction framework. A driver’s license is an asset in a flexible, fast-paced program.

Qualifications

• Work with participants to develop safety plans and community integration.
• Provide supportive counselling and information on trauma, mental health and harm reduction.
• Participate in care planning meetings with clinical and community supports.
