Job summary
The Minnesota Department of Education is seeking a Student Support Intervention and Resources Specialist to develop and support district intervention programs and resources. You will provide professional development, technical assistance, and resource coordination to district School Safety and Crisis Response Teams (SSCRT) and consultation, while supporting statewide BTAM protocols and practices.

- Licensed mental health professional with 4 years in K-12 settings.
- Experience applying trauma-informed, culturally responsive practices.
- Assessing behavioral/mental health concerns and intervening.
- Providing professional development on threat assessments and crisis response.
- Leading system-wide crisis intervention, de-escalation, trauma-informed care.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support district intervention programs and resources.
- Provide professional development, technical assistance, and resource coordination to district SSCRTs.
- Support statewide BTAM protocols and practices.
- Consultation to districts on crisis response and behavioral health interventions.
- Work as part of a crisis management team for violence prevention and student support.
