Qualifications

  • Experience as a teacher or student teacher with LD/BD students.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare lessons to meet individual needs of students.
  • Ensure lesson plans meet state, district, and school requirements.
  • Provide consistent reinforcement, assessment, and feedback to students.
  • Teach LD/BD students off campus with assistance from a teacher’s assistant.
  • Utilize IXL and MobyMax as a supplement curriculum.
  • Collaborate with treatment team to promote student growth.
  • Maintain a safe and trauma-informed classroom environment.
  • Keep records on student progress and behaviors.
  • Support school programming and events; may work evenings/weekends.
  • Must love students, have fun, and be part of a team.
