Job summary

Child & Family Service in Hilo, HI is seeking a Specialist IV-N-HILO (PT) to deliver trauma-informed care and advocacy for survivors of sexual abuse. You will implement specialized program services linking assessment, treatment planning, intervention, and evaluation to promote healing, safety, and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, emotional support, and 24/7 on-call crisis response.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Over two years, up to and including four years of relevant experience in mental health services.
• Experience with parents/caregivers who harmed their children or threatened their children with harm.
• Experience working with children who experienced trauma and loss.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention, emotional support, and survivor-centered advocacy.
• Implement specialized program services linking assessment, treatment planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Engage in on-call crisis response to ensure immediate care during emergencies.
