The Methodist Home of Kentucky is seeking a Unit Supervisor to lead an assigned living unit within the Caminos Shelter Program. You will supervise Youth Care Associates, ensure safety, and drive trauma-informed programming to support unaccompanied children.

This role requires compliance with KYUMH, Board of Child Care, and ORR policies, plus routine quality assurance including logs audits and safety reviews.

Qualifications

• Two years of college/university education plus two years’ experience in a child-caring facility, or a high school diploma with five years’ experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a Human Services related field.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
• Must pass background checks, drug screenings, CPR/First Aid, Safe Crisis Management and ORR vaccinations.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily operation, supervision, safety, and programming of an assigned living unit.
• Provide direct supervision to Youth Care Associates and coaching staff.
• Ensure compliance with KYUMH, Board of Child Care, and ORR policies.
• Conduct weekly audits of activity logs and review safety assessments.
• Maintain a trauma-informed, therapeutic milieu supporting youth development.
