Volunteers of America North Louisiana in Mansfield, LA, seeks a Behavioral Health School Wellness Counselor to provide individual and family counseling, crisis intervention, and psychosocial assessments in a supportive, trauma-informed setting.

The role requires a Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work, with preference for provisional licensure in Louisiana. Full-time, on-site position with benefits including health and dental insurance.

Competenze

• Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field required.
• Preference given to candidates provisionally licensed in Louisiana.
• Provisional licensure preferred.

Mansioni

• Conduct face-to-face interviews with recipients and families.
• Provide individual and family supportive counseling.
• Provide crisis intervention and crisis de-escalation supports.
• Deliver educational and skills-building interventions to improve client/family functioning.
• Deliver interventions in client’s home and/or community when needed.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and document client interactions.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with community service agencies.
