The contractor will conduct assessments, plan goals, and implement evidence‑based interventions, supporting community reintegration and safety in a structured milieu.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or eligibility for licensure.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in behavioral health or psychiatric settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop goal‑oriented treatment plans.
• Create individualized treatment plans aligned with discharge needs and progress monitoring.
• Provide individual therapy sessions focusing on daily structure, time management, emotional regulation, and social participation.
• Help patients build routines and engage in meaningful activities supporting recovery.
• Integrate OT into the residential milieu and collaborate with staff for skill generalization.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care meetings to ensure coordinated treatment.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation per policy and regulatory standards.
