Job summary

Lantern Community Services, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Program Director to provide leadership and oversight for housing stability and wellbeing. You will guide a trauma-informed, high-performing team while promoting equity and program improvement.

The role involves clinical supervision, policy support, and collaboration with partners to ensure high-quality services at Audubon Hall in Washington Heights, NY. Exempt, full-time, daytime schedule with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• MSW or LMHC licensure within 1 year of employment.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in social services.
• Experience with mental health, substance use, or homelessness.
• Knowledge of OMH/DOHMH/HASA contracts and funder requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision and coaching to case management staff.
• Review clinical documentation, conduct chart reviews, monitor dashboards.
• Support policy development, outcomes tracking and program management.
• Facilitate clinical, staff and community meetings.
• Provide clinical oversight in treatment and crisis intervention.
• Ensure trauma-informed, harm-reduction approaches; staff training coordination.
• Collaborate with property management and service providers to support housing stability.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, supervision and discipline.
• Prepare incident reports and funder notifications.
