Job summary

Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services (PCHAS) seeks a Parenting Groups Coordinator in Navarro County to lead Parent Cafes, Circle of Security Groups, and the Parent Advisory Council. You will drive trauma-informed, family-centered education for infants through preschool children and collaborate with local partners to promote child safety and family resilience.

You will coordinate logistics, trainings, and materials for the Corsicana Office, support program budgets, and help grow community

Qualifications

This position requires education, training and experience in human service delivery to families.
Flexibility in work hours, including some evenings and weekends, to meet working families' needs.
Experience and passion in leading curriculum-based or support groups.

Responsibilities

Coordinate all Parent Groups in the Growing Together program, including Parent Cafes, Circle of Security Groups, and the Parent Advisory Council.
Promote child abuse prevention, public awareness, and positive parent education for infants to preschool children.
Plan and facilitate parent education groups and support groups in Navarro County.
Lead monthly Parent Cafés and coordinate PAC meetings.
Develop content for Parent Café themes and coordinate materials for Corsicana Office.
Create advertisements and social media posts for Parent Cafes and PAC.
Maintain documentation in CSWIS and PEIRS and oversee group budgets.
