Job summary

Northwest Children's Home in Idaho seeks a Paraprofessional to support students in small classrooms on our residential campus and at the Education Center. You will assist Teachers, help implement treatment and education plans, and supervise safe outdoor activities with the children.

As a Trauma-Informed Care advocate, you build meaningful relationships, set clear boundaries, and model positive behavior to support the children’s progress toward their goals. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Some experience working with children.
• Valid Driver’s License to transport residents in agency vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assist Teachers in classrooms and support students in the education environment.
• Participate in outdoor activities and supervise kids during recreation.
• Model positive behavior and maintain healthy boundaries using trauma-informed care.
