Midwest Family Services is hiring a Mental Health Counselor for the Stark County, OH area. The role provides individual therapy, treatment planning, case management, and collaboration with staff and external partners to support clients in our behavioral health program.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling with relevant licensure, and are enrolled as an NPI provider with Ohio Medicaid.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in social work or counseling required.
• LISW/LISW-S, LPCC, MFT, or IMFT licensure welcome.
• Must be enrolled as an NPI provider and Medicaid in Ohio.
• Ability and willingness to travel to group homes/workshops.
• Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, and EHR documentation.

Mansioni

• Provide screening, intakes, evaluations, assessments and discharge planning.
• Provide ongoing client assessment and adjust treatment plans.
• Work respectfully with culturally diverse populations.
• Collaborate with program staff to determine continuum of care.
• Participate in clinical supervision meetings.
• Deliver trauma-informed mental health services to clients.
