Job summary

Seneca Nation Health System is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care under direction of RNs. You will work with the care team to support patient health maintenance and comprehensive documentation in the EHR.

Responsibilities include assisting with examinations, obtaining clinical data, and ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment. Requires NYS LPN licensure, 2+ years of experience, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with NYS licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with examinations and procedures related to direct patient care.
• Obtain pertinent clinical data and document in the EHR.
• Monitor patient emotional status and comfort; report to RNs/providers.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary environment and handling of communications.
• Participate in PCMH guidelines and electronic health record duties.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings and training; support team.
