Job summary

East Bay Agency for Children (EBAC) is seeking a Youth Empowerment Services - LCSW or LMFT Clinical Supervisor in Oakland, CA. The role provides clinical leadership and supervision within the YES program to improve outcomes for youths and families in Alameda County.

The supervisor will partner with internal teams and community partners to deliver trauma-informed, equitable care and oversee staff performance, training, and compliance with behavioral health standards.

Qualifications

• Active LCSW or LMFT with two years post-licensure experience.
• Experience supervising pre-licensed interns or associates in child and family therapy.
• Experience with chart auditing and QA in behavioral health.
• Strong ability to navigate EHR and web-based systems for documentation and records.
• Excellent supervisory and interpersonal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides trauma-informed clinical and administrative supervision to pre-licensed interns, registered associates, and licensed clinicians.
• Provides individual and/or group supervision to clinical staff in-person or virtually as needed.
• Creates professional development goals with employees and completes periodic evaluations.
• Supports staff in meeting program service delivery and caseload expectations with ongoing feedback.
• Participates in hiring and onboarding of new staff.
• Monitors supervisees’ schedules and informs Program Director of issues, absences, and vacations.
• Provides crisis consultation and direct crisis intervention as needed.
• Maintains relations with school site principals and personnel to ensure school referral systems are set up for success.
• Acts as liaison between EBAC, local schools, families, and community partners.
• Supports COST meetings and District-led meetings as needed.
• Participates in utilization review and adheres to EBAC EPSDT standards.
• Attends EBAC meetings and trainings as needed.
