Job summary

The Matthews House seeks a Children & Family Programs Manager in Fort Collins, CO to oversee day-to-day operations of prevention-focused programs. You will lead staff, ensure program quality, and drive outcomes through data-driven improvements.

This full‑time, exempt role offers a hybrid work arrangement with up to 20% remote work, engaging community partners and managing multiple grants and contracts to support vulnerable families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years in children and family services or related field.
• 2+ years in supervision/administration.
• Experience with multi-program, multi-funded family support initiatives preferred.
• Supervision, coaching, onboarding and staff development skills.
• Knowledge of child welfare, early childhood, prevention, education and healthcare systems.
• Grant management, documentation, reporting, compliance or program budgets experience.
• Ability to use program data to drive quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team leads, coordinators and direct service staff.
• Provide reflective supervision and performance management; onboarding and scheduling support.
• Ensure trauma-informed, strengths-based, equity-centered practices across programs.
• Oversee daily operations of selected Children and Family programs.
• Monitor workflows, caseloads, and service timelines to maintain quality and access.
• Support grant/contract requirements and timely reporting; audit readiness.
