Job summary

The Matthews House in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a part-time Facilitator to lead experiential learning groups with at-risk youth. This hands-on role focuses on planning and delivering outdoor education, arts programming, and skill-building workshops that foster confidence, resilience, and community connections.

You will work with another facilitator to design trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate experiences, support progress toward education, employment, and housing goals, and help

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred in related field.
• 2+ years in youth development, outdoor education, or experiential learning preferred.
• Must have valid driver license and clean driving record.
• Must pass CBI/FBI fingerprinting and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate experiential learning activities and workshops.
• Ensure programming is trauma-informed, inclusive, and youth-centered.
• Build positive relationships and elevate youth voice in design.
• Maintain attendance, logs, and reporting in internal systems.

Education

Associate Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or similar field (required)

Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Child Development, Criminal Justice, Sociology, or Counseling (preferred)
