Job summary

Justice Resource Institute Inc. is seeking a Director of Education to lead Littleton Academy’s education department, oversee hiring and supervision, and drive curriculum planning and IEP development.

This role works with clinical, nursing, residential, and administrative teams to ensure a cohesive, trauma-informed program for latency-aged students. The position emphasizes leadership in meetings, liaison work with public schools, and maintaining strong relationships with families and outside

Qualifications

• Requires 21+ years old.
• Special Education Administrator certification or M.Ed SPED Administration required.
• At least 1 year of supervision/administration experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in special education with emotionally challenged youth.
• Experience in alternate school settings or treatment programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Littleton Academy education department, including hiring, supervising, and training.
• Lead curriculum planning, IEP development, and technology integration across school programs.
• Collaborate with Clinical, Nursing, Residential, and Administrative teams to align services.
