Job summary

Justice Resource Institute’s Littleton Academy seeks an Assistant Director of Education to lead the on-site education program within a trauma-informed residential setting for latency-aged students. The role involves supervising staff, curriculum planning, IEP development, and coordinating with clinical teams to advance students’ treatment goals.

A Master’s in Education and MA licensure or progress toward SPED leadership are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Special Education Administrator certification is preferred, but not required.
• MA DESE license for Special Education Moderate Disabilities 5-12.
• Minimum of one year experience as supervisor or administrator.
• At least 5 years experience in Special Education with emotionally disabled students.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee education department plans and curriculum to support treatment goals.
• Manage a caseload of students and help them build life skills.
• Collaborate with teaching and clinical teams to ensure a safe therapeutic environment.
