Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a behavioral health field and licensure eligibility or active license considered.
• California licensure eligibility and board registrations (ACSW/AMFT/APCC or Psychologist) preferred.
• Minimum five years of professional experience with EHS/Head Start families.
• Direct clinical services to children birth to five and families; experience with behavioral assessments and behavior support plans.
• Knowledge of Head Start standards, licensing regulations, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides early childhood mental health consultation to support social-emotional development.
• Coaches staff in trauma-informed behavior guidance and classroom practices.
• Develops and monitors individualized behavior support/intervention plans with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participates in MDT meetings; prepares cases and tracks action items.
• Completes Tier 1 Learning Environment Observations and supervises interns when applicable.
