Job summary

People Serving People seeks an energetic Multi-Age Teacher to support teachers and staff, managing classrooms for ages birth to 5. The role runs Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with opportunities to fill in during breaks and absences.

Emphasis on nurturing development and strong family partnerships within Minnesota DHS guidelines. The position emphasizes trauma-informed teaching and social-emotional development, with collaboration across teams to ensure safe, engaging learning

Qualifications

• Experience as an assistant teacher, aide, or student intern in an early childhood center.
• Must obtain CPR/First Aid Certification within 90 days of hire; maintain certifications.
• Comfortable teaching in multiple classrooms and locations when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide services for children birth to 5 years complying with licensing and program standards.
• Engage children with hands-on learning and assist the lead teacher.
• Implement trauma-informed care and social-emotional curriculum in daily activities.
