People Serving People in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a dedicated Multi-Age Teacher to support classrooms for ages birth to 5. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.

to 4:00 p.m., with responsibilities across centers, supervision, and collaboration with Lead Teachers. The position emphasizes trauma-informed practice, family collaboration, and developmental activities using Creative Curriculum and TSGOLD.

Qualifications

• Must enjoy working with young children.
• Ability to effectively relate and communicate with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Flexible and willing to work in a team-teaching environment.
• Capable of using good judgment in daily teaching situations.
• Must successfully complete and pass the criminal background check.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive services for children from birth to 5 years of age, complying with program guidelines and DHS licensing.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards when working with children, parents and peers.
• Engage children in hands-on learning and assist lead teacher in daily activities.
• Implement trauma-informed practices and support social-emotional development.
• Assist in creating and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans using Creative Curriculum.
• Communicate with families daily about the child’s day, with successes, challenges, and routines.
