Qualifications

• Master's Degree in social work or counseling preferred.
• Knowledge of community resources.
• Experience with children with behavior and social/emotional problems.
• Able to communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally.
• Demonstrate decision-making, consultation and presentation skills.
• Good judgment under routine and stressful conditions.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to work daily hours, including occasional evenings.
• Hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and in-home ECMH consultation, education, and training.
• Align practice with the agency mission and trauma-informed care.
• Perform social-emotional assessments using DECA-IT/DECA-P2/DECA-C and others.
• Identify needs and design family-centered interventions for growth and change.
• Teach families with strategies to improve behavior, communication and social skills.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers and professionals; facilitate referrals.
• Maintain paperwork and data entry timely per Invest in Children and policy.
• Communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
