Job summary

Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio (ESCNEO), in collaboration with Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) and PRE4CLE, seeks an adaptable, collaborative Early Childhood Consultant & Instructional Coach to join our team immediately/August 2026.

This is a part-time role, transitioning to full-time ASAP, with work across CMSD preschool classrooms and professional learning environments. The position focuses on high-quality early childhood instruction and educator development.

Qualifications

• A background in Early Childhood Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Special Education, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience designing and facilitating professional development.
• Experience coaching educators and/or supporting co-teaching teams.
• Strong knowledge of early childhood instructional practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
• A high degree of adaptability and flexibility.
• A strong commitment to improving outcomes for young children and supporting educators in urban early childhood settings.

Responsibilities

• Design, facilitate, and evaluate high-impact professional development for early childhood educators.
• Provide job-embedded, side-by-side coaching within preschool classrooms; model strategies and co-teaching practices.
• Collaborate with General Education and Special Education teachers to strengthen inclusive classroom practices.
• Support curriculum alignment and translate professional learning into classroom practice.
