Job summary

Wheeler Clinic is seeking an Early Childhood Clinician to deliver intensive, home-based prevention and intervention for children birth to five and their families. The role requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field, licensure eligibility, and 3 years of therapeutic experience with young children.

A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with a $1,500 at start and $1,500 after one year. The position is full-time, based out of 1 Hope Street with services in DCF Region 6, and includes comprehensive

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work or related license eligible field or a doctoral degree in Psychology is required.
• 3 years of experience working in a therapeutic capacity with young children and families is preferred.
• Licensure as LCSW/LMSW/LMFT/LMFTA/LPC/LPCA or licensed/license-eligible psychologist is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides intensive, home-based prevention and intervention for children birth to five and their families.
• Maintains knowledge of early childhood development and related mental health/attachment theories.
• Develops family-driven service and treatment plans with collaboration from the family and providers.
• Maintains documentation and data systems for clinical accountability.
• Works under the supervision of the Clinical Director/Program Manager.
