Job summary

Walker Therapeutic & Educational Programs seeks a Director of the Therapeutic After School Program (TASP) to oversee operations for up to eight DMH-enrolled youth. You will recruit, hire, supervise staff, ensure coverage during vacations and summers, and implement trauma-informed and evidence-based programming.

You will coordinate transportation, provide clinical services and consultation, manage data reporting, attend supervision and meetings, and ensure compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MAP Certification must be obtained within 90 days.
• Licensure in LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT preferred for supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team to support youth development.
• Recruit, hire, supervise, and manage program staff.
• Manage scheduling with coverage for vacations and snow days.
• Provide a structured therapeutic milieu for youth and families.
• Coordinate transportation between program, families, and schools.
• Provide clinical services and consultations as appropriate.
• Ensure data collection, analysis, and reporting of outcomes.
• Attend meetings, supervision, and professional development.
