Job summary

Refuge for Women, a faith-based nonprofit serving survivors of trafficking, seeks a Direct Care Associate to support residents in the program house and uphold the program model. You will help maintain a safe healing environment and assist with day-to-day operations, including crisis response and life-skill development.

Responsibilities

• Assist program director in day-to-day activities with residents.
• Follow procedures for crisis or unexpected situations during shift.
• Complete Communication Log for program director at end of shift.
• Provide feedback to program directors to ensure progress and success of residents.
• Uphold resident guidelines, schedule and program requirements during shift.
• Coordinate transportation for medical, recovery meetings, church, shopping, training and employment activities as needed.
• Coordinate planned volunteer activities with the volunteer coordinator; provide input for safe house needs.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings and development activities.
