YWCA Lancaster is seeking a Director of Counseling Center to provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for a comprehensive behavioral health program serving women, survivors of violence, and marginalized communities in Lancaster, PA. This role oversees clinical, advocacy, prevention, and support services, ensuring compliance and fiscal stewardship.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in behavioral health or related human services settings.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care and culturally responsive service delivery.
• Excellent strategic planning, communication, relationship-building, and partnership development skills.
• Experience securing and managing grants and other funding sources.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Counseling Center and align with mission, values, and priorities.
• Lead growth of a comprehensive behavioral health model addressing mental health, trauma recovery, violence prevention, advocacy, and community well‑being.
• Oversee quality, effectiveness, and compliance of clinical, advocacy, prevention, and support services.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team with a culture of collaboration, equity, and professional excellence.
• Manage departmental budgets, grants, financial performance, resource allocation, and long‑term sustainability.
• Secure and steward grant funding and support fundraising and revenue development.
• Build strategic partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and government agencies.
