Job summary

Nexus Family Healing in Mendota Heights, MN seeks a Community-Based Therapist to support children, adolescents, adults and families. The role uses trauma-informed, strength-based approaches with evidence-based models like EMDR, DBT, and family systems therapy.

The position is part-time (about 10 hours weekly) with a flexible schedule, combining in-person and telehealth work, and requires a MN license track or progress toward licensure, plus a driving record and background check.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or related field is required.
• Currently licensed or on track to licensure in Minnesota; follow DHS and state rules.
• Experience with trauma-informed care and family-centered therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy in homes, community settings, and telehealth.
• Complete intake, assessments, and develop treatment plans with families.
• Coordinate with care teams, schools, and providers for discharge planning.
