Responsibilities

• Create, schedule and facilitate domestics/sexual violence trainings for diverse audiences.
• Provide drug & alcohol education sessions to survivors in the shelter program.
• Offer on-site advocacy and confidential support in hospitals, campuses, or partner sites.
• Provide short-term empowerment counseling, safety planning, and systems advocacy.
• Share information on reporting options and protective orders where applicable.
• Accompany survivors to law enforcement, court hearings, and related interviews.
• Provide group education and individual empowerment counseling to incarcerated survivors.
• Oversee Lethality Assessment Program and train officers as needed.
• Coordinate survivors to Safe Berks services and other resources.
• Develop collaborations with community partners and health professionals.
• Attend healthcare task forces and community meetings as requested.
• Deliver Sexual Harassment in the Workplace trainings to local businesses.
• Attend events and activities including non-traditional hours.
• Attend staff meetings and supervision; maintain required documentation.
• Maintain records and ensure annual training compliance.
