Job summary

Family Service of Rhode Island (FSRI) seeks a licensed, master’s level clinician to lead and supervise community behavioral health programs, including DCYF trauma teams. The role supports trauma-informed, client- and family-centered care and provides licensing supervision to masters level clinicians.

Responsibilities include crisis assessments, brief treatment, and consultation on evidence-based models; participate in on-call emergency services; and conduct clinical trainings as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human services required.
• Independent license in Rhode Island required.
• Licensed as Social Worker, Therapist, or Mental Health Counselor in RI.
• Proficiency in professional writing.
• Experience with medical record software, word-processing, and databases.
• Spanish speaking preferred and compensated.
• Flexible schedule with some evenings.
• Excellent multitasking and communication skills.
• Bilingual/ASL compensated by 6% above base.
• Multilingual compensated by 8% above base.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise community service programs, including DCYF Trauma Systems Therapy teams.
• Provide licensing supervision to master’s level clinicians.
• Support trauma-informed, client and family-centered care.
• Perform crisis assessments, brief treatment and consultation.
• Participate in on-call emergency services and teach evidence-based models.
• Conduct clinical trainings as necessary.
