Job summary

Intermountain Health in Lehi, UT seeks a Mental Health Therapist to assess and treat children, adolescents, and caregivers with trauma histories using evidence-based therapies. You will collaborate with a broad clinical team to coordinate care and deliver family-centered interventions.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in social work or related field with current state licensure (LCSW/CMHC/LMFT) and strong communication skills. Sign-on bonus available for 1+ year of experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related field.
• Current state licensure (as required by state) as LCSW, CMHC or LMFT.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer Skills, i.e., email, word processing.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based outpatient mental health therapy to children and adolescents with histories of child maltreatment, trauma, and/or grief.
• Complete comprehensive behavioral health assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical documentation.
• Deliver trauma-informed individual, family, and caregiver-focused interventions as clinically indicated.
• Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and other multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment approaches to address trauma-related symptoms, behavioral concerns, emotional regulation, grief, and family functioning.
• Engage caregivers as active participants in treatment and support implementation of therapeutic recommendations.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with organizational, regulatory, and payer requirements.
• Participate in clinical consultation, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive therapeutic environment for patients and families.
