Job summary

Childhelp seeks a Clinical Therapist I to provide trauma-informed therapy for children and adolescents who have experienced abuse, neglect, or adversity. You will provide individual, group, and family sessions within a multidisciplinary team, working closely with families, schools, and child welfare agencies to support healing.

You will carry a caseload of 22-25 clients, complete timely documentation, and participate in weekly supervision.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of professional mental health counseling for children and families.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and child development.
• Preferred: TF-CBT, PCIT, or EMDR training/certification.
• Must pass a clear fingerprint background screening.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Must meet agency productivity goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy.
• Collaborate with families, schools, and child welfare agencies for a holistic approach.
• Maintain caseload of 22-25 clients with accurate documentation.
• Educate caregivers on the impact of trauma on development and behavior.
• Provide safety planning and crisis support as needed.
• Participate in weekly supervision, staff meetings, and multidisciplinary consultations.
