Job summary

Personnel Resources, Inc. seeks a compassionate Therapist to provide trauma-informed therapy for children and families affected by abuse in Alabama.

You will deliver crisis intervention, individual and group therapy, and develop treatment goals while maintaining confidential records. License-eligible or licensed professionals with knowledge of child abuse and trauma-informed care are preferred; flexibility and teamwork are essential as you engage with a multidisciplinary team and support

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Alabama licensed or license-eligible (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT).
• Knowledge of child abuse, trauma, and trauma-informed care.
• Ability to engage children in a therapeutic setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention, individual, and group therapy.
• Develop treatment goals and maintain confidential clinical records.
• Coordinate appointments and provide follow-up support.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
• Complete required documentation, statistics, and grant reports.
• Assist with quality assurance, training, outreach, and fundraising activities.
• Report urgent case concerns to the Executive Director.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
