Job summary

Ignitus Recovery is seeking Mental/Behavioral Health Technicians to join AIM Health in Boulder, CO. This on-site role supports a trauma-informed, gender-responsive environment within a startup behavioral health program.

The position offers part-time or PRN hours with a W-2 arrangement and a compensation range of $19.00–$25.00 per hour, including a night shift differential. Training and collaboration with clinical staff are emphasized to ensure patient safety and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Active QMAP certification or ability to obtain it.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass comprehensive federal, state, and county background checks.
• Ability to pass drug screening.
• Understanding of addiction and trauma care.
• Strong emotional stability and boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Monitor client safety, behaviors and program participation during 12-hour shifts; maintain documentation.
• Assist with client orientation, enforce schedule structure and community accountability.
• Utilize trauma-informed de-escalation techniques to manage crises.
• Facilitate basic psychoeducational groups as directed and communicate observations to medical team.
• Support medication administration (QMAP), meal prep, facility upkeep and client transportation when required.
