Night shift differential

Job summary

Ignitus Recovery is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician for Cherry Hills Recovery in Colorado. The role offers 12-hour shifts, full-time or part-time possibilities, and a competitive hourly wage between $19 and $25, with additional night shift differential.

You will support a trauma-informed, gender-responsive environment and work on the front lines of client care within a growing startup program focused on long-term recovery and meaningful engagement.

Qualifications

• Active QMAP certification or the immediate ability to obtain and maintain it.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass comprehensive federal, state, and county background checks.
• Ability to pass drug screening.
• Strong professional boundaries, basic understanding of addiction/trauma care, and clear documentation skills.
• Lived experience navigating recovery circles or peer-support frameworks is valued.
• Engagement: trauma-responsive engagement and high adaptability in a growing startup.
• Ethics: strong teamwork, accountability and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Monitor client safety, behaviors, and program participation during 12-hour shifts; conduct milieu checks and maintain documentation.
• Assist with client orientation, enforce schedule structure, and uphold community accountability and expectations.
• Utilize trauma-responsive de-escalation techniques to prevent and manage crises.
• Facilitate basic psychoeducational groups as directed by clinical staff and communicate critical observations to the medical team.
• Support medication administration (QMAP), meal prep, facility upkeep, and client transportation when required.
