Job summary

Family Promise of Hawaiʻi is seeking a Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician to provide direct therapy to individuals and families who have experienced trauma, homelessness, or victimization, delivering trauma-informed, culturally responsive care through individual, group, and family sessions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.
• Current LCSW license in Hawaiʻi or equivalent license.
• Minimum 2 years of trauma-focused therapy experience.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills; HIPAA knowledge.
• Ability to collaborate in a nonprofit, multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Direct therapy sessions (individual, family, group) for trauma survivors.
• Develop treatment plans and deliver evidence-based interventions.
• Provide substance use screening and counseling.
• Maintain clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with housing staff and case managers.
• Participate in case conferences and team meetings.
• Provide clinical guidance to staff.
• Ensure program compliance and grant reporting.
• Provide internal training on trauma-informed care.
• Build referral relationships with behavioral health and victim services.
• Represent the organization at community coalitions.
