Job summary

TrueNorth Wellness is seeking staff to support behavioral health and wellness services across community settings in Pennsylvania. The role emphasizes connecting clients with resources, housing assistance, and access to mental health services, with a focus on trauma-informed care and compassionate support.

You will work with individuals navigating the court system, requiring reliable transportation and strong time management.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation needed to travel to the Fulton courthouse and Bedford County jail.
• Adaptability to changing priorities throughout the workday.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals by connecting them to community resources and services, including housing eligibility and Medical Assistance.
• Screen individuals involved in the court system for mental health concerns.
• Learn and apply Trauma-Informed Care in daily work.
• Build rapport quickly with individuals needing behavioral health resources and those in the justice system.
• Communicate effectively with other entities to meet client needs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, behavioral health, Criminal Justice social service or like field
