Merakey is seeking a Behavior Technician in Scranton, PA to work one-on-one with diverse students in a school setting. You will implement behavior plans, assist with daily living activities, and support student learning in a trauma-informed environment.

The role requires at least 6 months experience with developmental disabilities (preferably autism) and a high school diploma or GED. Training on interventions provided; benefits include DailyPay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities required.
• 6 months experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Following each child’s IEP and PBSP, help the student achieve academic and behavioral goals.
• Accompany and assist clients with activities and daily living including toileting and grooming.
• Implement and follow through with client/student behavior plans and individualized reinforcement systems.
• Provide behavioral interventions and physical interventions as needed; training provided per program regulations.
• Uphold the company mission and core values.
• Other duties as assigned
