Job summary

Kenaitze Indian Tribe is looking for a Behavior Guidance Coordinator to oversee early learning programs in Kenai, Alaska. This full-time role focuses on providing support to teaching staff in managing behavioral concerns among children aged three to five.

Responsibilities include classroom observations, IEP meeting participation, documentation maintenance, and the implementation of effective behavior interventions. A Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field is required.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in an Early Childhood classroom.
• Experience in a Special Education classroom or Early Childhood intervention preferred.
• Knowledge and experience working with cultural diversities.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to teaching staff regarding behavioral concerns.
• Assist with transitions and implement teaching models.
• Participate in IEP or IFSP meetings and maintain documentation.
