Job summary

Children’s Aid Society is seeking a seasoned administrator to direct the statewide APAC contract program—Alabama Pre/Post Adoption Connections. You will lead program development, coordinate partnerships, and ensure effective adoption services across the state.

The role requires a Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling with 5+ years in casework/adoption and management, LMSW/LICSW preferred, plus a valid Alabama driver license. Travel and background checks will apply.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling is required.
• More than 5 years experience in casework and/or adoption and foster care, management experience.
• LMSW, LICSW (preferred), or LPC. Valid Alabama driver license and auto insurance minimum liability 100/300.
• Good communication, problem solving skills. Computer proficiency.
• Ability to develop, implement, and supervise programs; teach and train; respond calmly and non-judgmentally to others, including persons in crisis, and provide a team approach to service delivery.
• Understanding of trauma informed care.
• Bi-annual TB skin test/medical report.

Responsibilities
