Responsibilities

• Implements and coordinates delivery of care with physicians and staff.
• Documents all nursing care, care plans, and observations; manages narcotics and equipment.
• Maintains infection control procedures knowledge and compliance.
• Recognizes significant patient findings and reports inconsistencies in orders or treatment.
• Collaborates with team; updates procedures, protocols, and discharge plans.
• Completes unit charges and ensures continuity of care.
• Assists charge nurse, supervises personnel, and supports new staff orientation.
• Provides direction to LPNs, CNAs, or MAs and participates in rounds.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and adheres to unit policies.
