Job summary

TriStar Skyline Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers.

You will assess patients on admission and during shifts, perform procedures, document care, administer medications, and maintain knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical nursing. This role is based at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse licensure is required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift.
• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by the medical provider.
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient response.
• Maintain knowledge of medications and equipment used in cardiac and medical-surgical care.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Progressive Care Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. The RN serves as an advocate for patients to support an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.

• Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.

• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.

• Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.

• Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Supportmust be obtained within30 daysof employment start date

• Registered Nurse

• Associate Degree

• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPRmust be obtained within30 daysof employment start date
